Riverland Camp - Black Bear Hunting


	RIVERLAND LODGE & CAMP


		Our Bear Hunt is a 7 day hunt over baits, running Saturday afternoon to the following Saturday at 10 a.m. Our BMA runs along the fringe of Algonquin Park.

	We have 14 ft. boats & 8 HP motors or canoes which are available for you. Gas is extra.

	TAXES AND LICENCES ARE EXTRA

	Hunting & Fishing Packages and Taxes are in US Funds Hunting Licences & Fishing Licences are in Canadian Funds Package 1 - Complete Hunt: In the lodge, 3 meals a day, maid service & your bear hunt. Price: $1000.00 per person based on double occupancy plus licences and taxes. Package 2 - Housekeeping rental unit - sleeps 6 people, complete kitchen, 4 piece bath, 2 or 3 bedrooms - $825 per hunter or $1000.00 per hunter with meals in the lodge, plus licences and taxes. Package 3 - You can bring your own camping equipment. Weekly campsite is $110.00 plus $675.00 per bear hunter, an additional $175.00 extra per hunter with meals in the lodge, plus licences and taxes.




		WHAT TO BRING

		You must wear blazing orange vest & cap Your gun, bow & arrows or black powder and must be in cases, with trigger locks on them. Warm jacket and rain clothing Bow hunters - please bring your tree-stand Flashlight, compass, skinning knife, fishing equipment Must declare fire arms at Canadian Customs. Do not transport firearms and ammunition in same container. We have a variety store for supplies that you may have forgotten. All guns, bows & arrows, and black powder firearm registration numbers must be registered at US Customs to prove you purchased them in the USA. Take the registration numbers into the Customs office - there is no charge. HAND GUNS AND PISTOLS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ONTARIO. Your previous hunting licence is required to obtain an Ontario Non-Resident hunting licence. We sell Hunting and Fishing licences here at Riverland.


	New Regulations in 2001 - Canada now requires a license for bringing firearms into the country. We will supply our hunters with the forms and information necessary to obtain their licenses. This is not complicated at all... We will require your name and address, registration numbers of your fire-arms, and 2 pieces of identification (e.g. drivers licence - one with picture ID)


	A Deposit of $100.00 per hunter is required by cheque, Visa or Mastercard. Balance due to be paid upon arrival by Cash, Visa, Mastercard or Interac Cancellation of 60 days prior to arrival, 95% refund of deposit.
